I remember liking Poppit Sands very much when I visited years ago. The beach was covered in small jellyfish
Bill Phillips: It still is Lisl. Lovely beach though and a nice cafe (Alan Rolfe please note)

As an image I must say this is delightful, full of textures & reflections. Actions too..
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you
I'm trying to figure out who is doing what here, Bill, since I've never seen such a combination. I'm guessing no one needs saving yet?
Bill Phillips: The boat is on a trailer, the Land Rover reverses into the sea , the boat is released and zooms off then the Land Rover goes back off up the beach. All that salt water can't do it a lot of good!

Why is that dinghy towing the Land Rober out to sea
Bill Phillips: Who knows? This is Wales after all
I like that landscape above the capes. Nice shot.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary. It is a nice place

Judging by the direction of the water splash around the Land Rover, the boat is definitely towing the car seawards. Great action, while the Landie lasts.
Bill Phillips: You wouldn't want to buy it second hand
Where's the dog!
Bill Phillips: Drowned
I imagine this wouldn't be such a simple job in heavy water.
Bill Phillips: It is very shallow Brian and fairly sheltered so perhaps it isn't too bad. They do have a bigger boat too
the van had to back into the beach quite a ways to launch the rescue boat Bill....petersmile
Bill Phillips: The water is very shallow for quite a way Peter

They may go faster if they did not have to tow that Landrover behind them.
Bill Phillips: True. It is obvious to you and I but they didn't get it at all
Amazing they rescue from an inflatable! Great catch!
Bill Phillips: In certain places they are ideal. The other inflatable was much bigger
