This looks like a lovely spot to enjoy.
Bill Phillips: It is delightful Beth.
This is such an English garden and house. Of course no proper Englishman would wear shorts....Must be a foreign tourist.
Bill Phillips: 'ang on mate...I wear shorts. In fact I was wearing them when I took this if I remember correctly grin
Joli jardin bien fleuri.
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely garden Martine, and a lovely house too
A lovely garden... I'd love to have a garden like that. English Country Gardens are such a delight!
I wonder why- in the video - when he's naming off the birds... those are all western North American species?
Bill Phillips: Well he was American.
You English sure know how to do them, Bill.
Bill Phillips: There is much love of gardening here Ginnie.

Summer growth before it all went over this year. And not much room for weeds!
Bill Phillips: Yes, little did we know!

I assume that this was before merry England was turned into a desert dustbowl. It looks a delight (ignoring the shed roof).
Bill Phillips: It was, we had no idea that we would be gasping for water before long

The bit in front is blurred.
Bill Phillips: So what?
Look at those tall roses! Absolutely loved the video of a lovely old song.
Bill Phillips: Lovely climbers
Nice shot Bill. A traditional English Country Garden takes some beating.
Bill Phillips: I quite agree it does Brian

Lovely garden and song. Yes, shorts just make real summer heat more bearable.
Bill Phillips: I wear shorts a lot in the summer and particularly this year!

That is just beautiful, Bill and I love the video with it... what a delight to have such a garden.
Bill Phillips: Lower Brockhampton is a real delight Astrid
Very nice.
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely place Tom
I would love to see the English gardens in their full glory, Bill, but I imagine when I'm there in October most flowers and plants will have finished blooming. You've presented a beautifully composed shot here with the perfect musical accompaniment.
Bill Phillips: If we have a mild Autumn then many flowers will still be in bloom and along with the autumn colours can be really lovely.
Nothing a bit of Tarmac wouldn't put right.
