I think he is one happy bunny
Bill Phillips: He is getting to drive a steam engine!
He looks the part Bill. I have not heard of this pop group.
Bill Phillips: It was formed by Mark Knopfler post Dire Straits and was made up of some of his mates. They made this one album I think and did a tour of the UK playing mainly small venues

Excellent framing of this serious young man.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis. This was actually cropped from a wide angle picture
Excellent picture Bill, one I would definitely enter in a competition if it was mine. Good video, I've always been annoyed that I never went to see Dire Straits, at the time our children were still too young to leave.
Bill Phillips: We took the girls to see Dire Straits at the NEC. It must have been 1991 or 2 I think
fantastic shot, Bill. i like the driver looking over the row of rivets.
Bill Phillips: His attention was riveted elsewhere though I think Ayush grin
Keeping an eye out for trouble.
Bill Phillips: He looks very professional

Casey Jones, Bill?

Lovely portrait.
Bill Phillips: Blimey that takes me back!
Good to see you learned something from me on the day Bill.
Bill Phillips: Bloddy Cheek. Main thing I learned from you was how thin blooded you are!

Good shot Bill, the red coach lines make all the difference. Excellent.

Notting Hillbillies. I have this on Vinyl, about time it slipped onto the turntable again.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mike. I have it on CD. Knopfler and his mates. I would like to have seen one of their concerts
Good portrait, Bill. I'd forgotten the Hillbillies, they were good.
Bill Phillips: It is a good record. I still play it now and then

Ahh.. see? I'm late to this. It's a cracking view and sums up your impression of the SVR very well. The railway would be nothing with their staff and volunteers
Bill Phillips: I am usually in beb by now but I just have time to thank you for your kind comment
What a great shot, Bill!! Nicely done!
Bill Phillips: Thanks E.

This is a brilliant and very atmospheric portrait, Bill. Reminds me of a Norman Rockwell.
