Bill Phillips: She has been helping out at the "Hive" (The new library) I think she could tell some colourful stories about the preparations for the opening on July 2nd (by the Queen)

The days of front gardens with flower beds lawns and trees have gone and been replaced by car parks ... How times change.
Bill Phillips: There was something about all these front gardens being paved contributing to flooding as they don't absorb any rain it just flows off.

Now back to these trains - Isn't train station just a shortened form of Railway Train Station. The fact that some buffs prefer a different shortened form is really just elitism. Railway station implies the railway becomes stationary where in fact the railway is always stationary (Beecham aside) and it is the railway train that becomes stationary. There, hope that cleared up the ethnography of the bahnhof.

Looks like suburbia is under threat!
Bill Phillips: I have never heard of them referred to as Railway Train Stations. The entity is a railway thus the station is part of that entity and if it has anything added as a prefix it has to be railway. Strewth, that's a long sentence without a comma!

Fine B&W Bill, the right side of dark for me and it compliments the composition extremely well, with that manhole cover providing a nice counterbalance of form to the lines of the houses.
