Love the back-light and the composition. This must be very early in the morning. The light is not switched on yet.
Bill Phillips: On my way to Chad's so not too early but early enough grin
On a misty morning? - a dark and mysterious image!
Bill Phillips: Misty morning indeed Elizabeth. I was on my way to meet up with Chris, Chad and Richard Trim

I would call this subtle: and I would call it Reedmace
Bill Phillips: Thank you and thank you for the botanical input too. I knew you would know what it was

The darkest picture I ever saw - but I recognize the reed -but there is some atmosphere I like.
Bill Phillips: Not as dark on my monitor perhaps Philine but it is quite dark

This is very fine, Bill. Atmospheric and artistic and all things good
Bill Phillips: Thank you Elizabeth I am blushing with pride smile
This is a very fine and therefore very unBill like picture. Have you turned over yet another new leaf?
Bill Phillips: I posted one of Mr Pig's by mistake

"The darkest picture I ever saw" I can't be having that. The gauntlet is down, Blackdog will respond ;o)

Very fine Mr. Pig!
Bill Phillips: The Pig and I have learnt from the dog smile

I like the backlighting in this and the hint of mist.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Alan.
I like how the heads stand out from the early morning mist smile
Bill Phillips: The really picked up the sun that was just starting to burn through the mist Martin
Mmm could have done with a little more light - I had to move my laptop screen around to see anything but darkness. However, when it does appear, it's very good!

Bill Phillips: It's interesting how things appear on different screens. Most of us don't have fully calibrated ones and some screens are truly awful (The one i had to use at work the other day being a good example) This picture is quite clear on my screen. Dark, yes but that was intentional.

Bill Phillips: It could be Chad!!
A very nice atmospheric picture with this subtil light Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Richard
