This is brilliant stuff, Bill.

When you return you will have a different picture, but you have left little room to make it better.
Bill Phillips: Well thank you Ray, I'm chuffed

All things considered you have done a very fine job here
Bill Phillips: Thank you young Tiff
Although you want to remake this photo in different light, I think the flat light in this image is quite fitting. It is motivating for me to start stitching!

Bill Phillips: Not having CS4 or the like I use a freebie called Hugin. It is a bit odd but works well

This is a lovely panorama Bill - it's worked really well. I like the flat grey light - it gives a real sense of tranquillity and brings out the colours in the red brick.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: You know, I have to agree. I like this more now than I did at the time.
Very nice panorama. Great job! Lighting is very balanced.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Paul

An idyllic pic- finely stitched together! - does the mill still work and where is the waterwheel? I wish you a lovely weekend- we have much sun and a three-days-lasting Eurocity feast with thousands of people, hundreds of stalls, and some well-known bands...- but I would prefer the tranquillity of Cropthorne!
Bill Phillips: I think it is lived in as a house now. Sounds like an action packed weekend ahead for you Philine.
A fine stitching job Bill...but like you..cant wait to see the sunshine.
Bill Phillips: Been a bit wet lately but the weekend sounds promising
Just superb Bill. You did a great job!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard.
Excellent picture Bill, no sign of the joins and the muted colours work very well.
Bill Phillips: Just like Ernie Wisetongue
really great pano here Bill, enjoy the weekend mateysmile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tim..you too young sirsmile

What do you mean decent light ... this is fabulous. I love the reflection.
Bill Phillips: Well it was grey and dull, but actually this has turned out better than I thought at first. Delighted you like it
Oh Bill, this is really lovely. I like the lighting, the reflections and the general peaceful nature of the scene. A+
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pam, pleased you like it
Beautiful, English country side. Great work.
Bill Phillips: Thank you and thanks for coming by.
Good landscape Bill, well stitched up.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Nig
