A wonderful message- and a happiness for you both! (not granted)- my congratulations and I would like to repeat Ginnie's wish! - But, Bill, why not a coloured pic today for Angela and you, a pic with a wide love-ly outlook, a bright blue sky (perhaps too kitschig)? Sorry, if I ask!
Bill Phillips: The picture is a subtle message Philine. In a dark world I always have a light

Wot - better than buying that lime green jerkin in 1969?
Bill Phillips: How's Germany! I think they are trying to tell you somethinggrin Anyway, how ever did you know about the jerkin? I've never told a soul.

Congratulations on your anniversary and yet another fine photograph. You are developing a fine appreciation of the use of light Bill. Excellent.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mike. Without wishing to flatter I've learnt a lot from Ingrid and your pictures.

Happy Anniversary, and congratulations for both sticking with it during the bad times and good. Our generation knows how to do it.

The image of the 'Last Leaf' brought me to think how uncommon is to find happy marriages nowadays. Congrats to you both for those 37 years of love and sharing and more love...(hard work, huh?)

A gift of a poem for Bill and Angela as a rewarding for giving us hope that it is possible to find that kind of true and everlasting love

'I never thought
you were going to be the one
to fill my heart
and my days with your smile.

I never thought
you were going to stay for long
with all your manners
and your special way to love.

I never thought
this happiness could exist
but when I met you
I felt, I knew, I wished
...I never thought' (K.A.)
Bill Phillips: Thank you so much for the poem. I am really touched. I am far luckier than I deserve.

you created something almost from nothing, Bill, and that requires some skills.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Viktor. Of my own pictures this is one of my favourites (aside from important family ones)

Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Mal. Pleased you like it.
Congratulation, Bill. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Thanks Roz. We actually met 40 years ago!
ahh grin i see you're still enjoying the dark side sir.

all this needs is a little more white in the greys. but don't touch the blacks.
Bill Phillips: Colour and twiddles return tomorrow Doc! But the dark side will return. Interesting comment about the greys, I am still learning about b&w and experimenting to see what I like so I my have a twiddle with this when I have a quiet momentgrin
You are begining to worry me, Lord Phillips. This is a serious and seriously good photograph. Bring back tacky borders I say.
Bill Phillips: Fear not Sir Cropalot, I cannot remain serious for long! Frivolity will feature for the next week or so, but the odd b&w ( I love b&w) will be slipped in.
Congratulations Bill. Many many more to come!
The lighting is magical here.
Bill Phillips: I hope sogrin.
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary! I wish Angela and you all the best.

Bill Phillips: We tend not to make a big fuss on anniversaries, but we had a nice day on Wednesday when our daughter Kathryn graduated for her Masters degree and we all went out for a meal afterwards.
