Hanbury Hall
This is the closest National Trust property to us. This is actually a picture I took last year on my little 3 megapixel compact.

That's a wild, alien skyscape. I like the way the processing has sharpened and clarified features of the architecture.
Bill Phillips: I don't know why but when I did this the house seemed to pop out into an almost 3D effect.
You are a photographic artist, Sir Phillips!
Bill Phillips: You are too kind my Lady Ginnie
The sky scares me but the rest is enhanced ok. I'd love to see it in regular colour.
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough I assumed that I must have posted a picture of Hanbury Hall already...but I haven't. I will post a proper one later on in the year. It is a lovely house with very nice gardens.
I have been there and it looks just like this.
Bill Phillips: It will be better when they have finished refurbishing the roof.
That is actually a not bad effort Bill - especially if you shot it on such an underpowered camera. Perhaps the sky is a trifle overcooked?
Bill Phillips: Actually Chris about the first 100 pictures I posted were shot on this camera. You can just about print up to A4 and, of course, a computer screen resolution is so low it doesn't really matter what you use. I rather liked the sky! Oh well, perhaps you are right
Yikes talking of science fiction! Interesting result though.
Bill Phillips: I could be philosophical and say that it is a statement about global warming and pollution. It wouldn't be true though
This is very gothic, but maybe slightly too organised to be threatening.
Bill Phillips: How about cosy threatening
Bill the sky has been shopped very well as the rest of the photo but the sky is out of this world.
Bill Phillips: A vote for the sky...hooray
Very Tim Burton there Bill. I'm liking this muchly. The sky is absolutely amazing
Bill Phillips: Thanks Paul...thinks Tim Burton....oh! THAT Tim Burton! That's very complimentary!
I like this photo, though I am also not sure of the sky. The whole picture has a metallic look about it, a bit like those silver foil seaside pictures.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila. Opinion is divided about the sky!
Ha! ... crazy sky bill.
The sky is AWFUL the house is GOOD So I suppose I have to sum the presentation up by saying it's AWFULLY GOOD. richard
Bill Phillips: LOL! I like the sky...but I like it when opinion is divided!
Is the end of the world not far away? I love the sky Bill!
Bill Phillips: Arma geddon outa here! Hooray a vote for the sky. Merci!
Very striking and eyecatching Bill. The house seems to stand out very strongly here.
Bill Phillips: Thanks. I'm not sure why but it does
Impressive, wow, this I like, the silvery colours in it, that fabulous sky...it might be unexpected...this is a likey to me, just love it.
Bill Phillips: Ik ben vereerd dat u gegund dat onderscheid op mijn foto
I don't know what to say Bill - I go away for a few days and you're back to your infernal twiddling! Nice garden.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: While the cat's away
Une superbe photo avec un ciel étonnant, bravo !
Bill Phillips: Merci. Je suis heureux comme vous le ciel!
The house and gardens are great Bill. The sky is great Bill. Know what that means, yes a great shot.
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Brian. I seem to have divided people over the sky!
Very interesting processing. It certainly jumped beyond being the average holiday snap.
I love it. You brought out some interesting colours.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Michael. I was playing around with some plug ins and rather like this effect.
You have made a treatment spectacular!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Jose Angel
Hi Bill, there's a dreamlike quality to this image - and I find it slightly disturbing! Just my type of image!! Mike
Like the depth the processing gives to this, great image.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Phil, pleased you like it.
