Very, very nice, Bill! Whatever you did makes me want to stare at it.

Although I'm missing the spring colours- it is a lovely, a little oldfashionned looking , well composed (with the opposite running curves of bridge-arch and handrail) postcard-picture!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Philine. I felt this one looked better in b&w .

I'd never heard of Bathhampton before you posted these Bill. It's very appealing! I hadn't realiosed you'd done anything to this until I read the comments. A subtle effect which works rather well.
Bill Phillips: It's just outside Bath not far from Bath University. Tiff (Chris Phillips) lives there.
Beautiful in B&W, another atmosphere indeed !
Bill Phillips: Thanks Zeb..I rather like this onesmile

Canals are such beautiful places to capture, love the B&W, stunning picture.
Bill Phillips: Aren't they just! Even our modest stretch of canal in Droitwich, with the little River Salwarpe alongside it offers lots of photos!
Lovely shot Bill: I have just come back from an evening walk through this very place
Bill Phillips: Thanks Chris. I hope you took your camera with you!!
Picture postcard stuff again Bill and I like the structure of this picture, and how nice to see B&W in this type of photo.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Brian. I thought this one made a decent B&W

Very traditional English scene, very nice, well done.
Bill Phillips: Nice? It's the only thing,' said the Water Rat solemnly, as he leant forward for his stroke. 'Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing— absolute nothing— half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
