photoblog image A novelty

A novelty

This is probably the first picture I have ever posted that has not had any form of adjustment whatsoever. Not even a whiff of a twiddle.

Driver's dilemma...
Bill Phillips: The red hat would look good on the footplate
A lovely comp - and great lighting... testament to your fine photographic skills!
Bill Phillips: I should have managed not to chop the edge off the cap
Jolie photo de ces coiffures.
Bill Phillips: Merci Martine.

A very strange composition: wedding hats on a bufferbeam!
Bill Phillips: They were just there, so I did what any alert Shutterchance would have done....and then I took a picture
Very good Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Michael

See Bill ..after all these years you have achieved what us ordinary folk achieve everyday.
Bill Phillips: The difference is that most of your pictures should have been twiddled comrade grin

Oh? I thought most of your images were straight out pf the camera smile I have a feeling that this hat would not stay clean for long when worn on the footplate of a locomotive. The flat 'at makes me thing of ferret racing; ay ooop.
Bill Phillips: Straight out of the dustbin ...I mean Lightroom
A great image Bill, it didn't need any twiddling, although, as you said to E, the edge of the cap missing would be an issue in a club, as you know from experience no doubt.
Bill Phillips: There is no excuse. It wasn't moving grin

Gentleman and Lady - I love your image!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Philine. I am pleased you like it
Really? About one percent I put here is twiddled. Someone in the red hat society would be pleased with this hat.
Bill Phillips: Almost every picture I post or use has been adjusted in some way.

- and a perfect picture, Bill.
Bill Phillips: You are very kind Penny. Thank you
Doesn't look as though it needed any twiddling, Bill.
Bill Phillips: That's what I thought Tom
You're quite right, the snipped hat is the only snippet of discontent. The colours are lovely and the juxtaposition of the heavy machinery against the fine millinery on display works well.
Bill Phillips: Careless of me!
