The font makes a fine drinking trough for the coos, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I will mention that to them next time I visit Ray

I had to Google this one, Bill, as I had only heard of the Lethaby Church there
Bill Phillips: I will have to do the same because I can't remember what it said about it
Beautiful point of view here and what a wonderful pace to visit, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Brockhampton is a delight Astrid
How very pleasing to the eye, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ginnie....just what I thought at the time

I remember you telling me that if it has a roof it is National Trust. If it hasn’t a roof it’s English Heritage. Then, like the English language, there are always exceptions.
Bill Phillips: The rest of Brockhampton has a roof so it is a half exception

Great shot, with this POV. So this is where you were baptised, when this place still had a roof. Must have brought back fond memories, if you can remember that far back smile Probably can't remember whether you were baptised grin
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough I have never been baptised Louis
I wonder if this was Henry VIII's doing during the Dissolution, nice picture, very good foreground font.
Bill Phillips: I don't know Brian.
Nice to have the water troth. The place is well worn!
Bill Phillips: I am assuming it is a font Mary
I guess the imagination could run riot in this simple building. Those stones could tell some stories.
Bill Phillips: I am sure they could Sheila

I like the airy feel of the place. It could possibly be chilly and/or damp at times at times, though.
Bill Phillips: Only southern softies would think that Alan

Wonderful perspective. It certainly does invite the imagination to picture the past.
Bill Phillips: It would have been at the centre of life at one time
