So very true, Bill. So very true!
Bill Phillips: It is the way of the 21st century. I must confess I have grown to like my smartphone and find it very useful
We don't know what he is missing, Bill...... my son was very big on skateboarding, that was his live back then. This kid will catch on (I hope....)

I like your reflection about and around this boy. I think at the moment he will not miss anything, perhaps a cola or a BurgerKing. The girl on the left with the 'Dutt' on her head looks like the most girls here.
Bill Phillips: They are the next generation who may make a better job of this world than we have managed Philine

You sound as if you are glad that you were from a different generation, Billiam …
Bill Phillips: I think we had the best of everything and the next generation is going to be paying for it Comrade
Do the youngsters ever put their phones down!
Bill Phillips: Not just youngsters Brian.

in his mind, probably nothing

very cool street scene
Bill Phillips: He is young. When he is older he may discover Elgar and understand the horror that was WW1. But for now he has his skateboard and facebook

Perhaps he learning about Worcester Cathedral or Edward Elgar.

I can remember going to see a performance of "Oiliver!" in the West End and our seats were eye-wateringly expensive; a chap near me spend the entire show fiddling with his phone.
Bill Phillips: If I had to sit through Oliver I would be fiddling with my phone too grin
he is in his virtual world Bill... at least he gets some supersize on the skate board....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I admire anyone who can use a skateboard Peter grin
This is sad...
