wow, this looks so inviting

it's been way, way too long since we've had the opportunity to go to the beach

a stunning photograph
Bill Phillips: It was lovely for a paddle. I guess you must be over 400 miles from the nearest beach
Superbe avec les reflets du soleil.
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Martine

Not as pleasing as yesterday’s but I like the angle on the water.
Bill Phillips: Did you mean Monday's?

Excellent result again. On a full moon the sea also makes silver ridges.
Bill Phillips: A moonlit sea is rather special

yes, indeed, well over 400 miles to a clean beach. if we went to the gulf, it would be about 500 miles, but to see the ocean, it would be 900 miles. a long road and a very expensive stay as far as food and lodging.

i can recall the sound of the waves as i view your image
Bill Phillips: As a child I lived 9 miles from the coast.
It's like a "day for night" film shot.
Bill Phillips: I remember those. Much used in 60s TV
All the elements come together so well.
