Broadway

Broadway in the Cotswolds is one of the most Chocolate box villages you could visit. This is on the edge and is a more normal looking house.

One day I will go there and do a complete Choccie extravaganza

it's a lovely home

i really nice the deep blue door as an element
Bill Phillips: A good strong blue usually makes a good door colour

This is nice, but Broadway tends to be one of those meccas crawling with tourists

There is definitely scope for the most calorific of Choccie overloads..
Bill Phillips: Which is why I have never bothered to do a visit!
I never hurts to plan ahead, Bill, so this makes a good appetizer! smile
Bill Phillips: It is very tourist orientated so we tend not to go there!

Not the sort of house that I would expect in Broadway. Looks a nice house, though. Why were you lurking in the bushes?
Bill Phillips: We were escaping the fierce sun

Well built, as it catches the sun nicely. I hope it does so in winter as well.
Bill Phillips: We don't get a lot of sun in the winter so I hope it does get any that is going
I took loads of pictures in Broadway during our visit a few years ago, enough for a whole section in my A/V.of the Cotswolds which is on my YouTube blog.
Bill Phillips: Apart from going to the National Trust property Snowshill Manor nearby we never really go to Broadway.
Go for it!
Bill Phillips: I might do one day...the place is near enough!
What a lovely house - and except for the wall, it could be anywhere in the U.S.!
Bill Phillips: It has a pleasing symmetry
