Little pepper and salt and that will do it... doesn't the recipe say "without feather"
It is amazing how these birds can fold up all legs and arm and whatever and look like that, some great yoga class this one went.
Bill Phillips: There is a rhyme which if you get it wrong is rude

I'm not pheasant plucker
but a pheasant plucker's son
and I'm only plucking pheasants
'till the pheasant plucker comes

Pluck it Bill, this would not be a pretty sight in the oven.
Bill Phillips: It wouldn't look too good on the plate either

smile if you can find a big enough roasting pan.

You think pelican makes for a good roast?
Bill Phillips: I could imagine it tasting a bit fishy
very first reaction

the bird has its own natural built in bed.

BIG BUDGIE....I grew up with parakeets or budgies in my family home and a couple times in my own homes many years later.
Bill Phillips: All very neat isn't it?

My wife's grandad had a budgie
Lot of good detail there Bill, a bit do big for our carving plate though.
Bill Phillips: Not sure I fancy trying it

Needs plucking first, though. With this heat, it won't need an oven smile
Carrying his own weapon and suitcase.
Bill Phillips: This isn't America
