It could double as the doghouse when the bloke is having a dust-up with his missus, Bill.

yes. i do see

i wonder how much sway the people who lived in the castle had over the church ?

was that ugly of me to say that ? if it was, i apologize now

an exceptional broad view of this entire scene and your photo is superb, once again
Bill Phillips: They would probably have had total sway over the church Sherri.
H.D.R. has done justice to that sky, Bill.

See what you mean!! Love your photograph, Bill! Nicely done!
Bill Phillips: Somewhere to visit if you have time E
Indeed so, Bill. I have found castles often have their own chapel, which makes a lot of sense....
Bill Phillips: I think many of the great houses have Ginnie, after all they ran everything in the area

Yes you could have a good old session of sinning in the house, then run over the way to get absolution

Then more sinning...etc
Bill Phillips: Surprising Comrade Trim hasn't got one

A cracking image; the sky especially is very impressive. What a lovely church, too.

Not far at all. I now get the picture as they say smile I can just imagine Mr. Squire hanging out the window: "Hey vicar, we had a little binge yesterday evening. You mind starting the service an hour later. We should be able to make it, then."
Bill Phillips: I rather like that scenario Louis grin
great architecture Bill but that sky stole the show in this image....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I quite agree Peter
