It has a good-humoured look about it, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is very inviting

i've never seen meat in a storefront window

is it real ?

love, love the sidewalk chalkboard signs
Bill Phillips: Very much so Sherri. This is how all traditional butcher's shops display meat.
I like that master of butchery...
Bill Phillips: No false modesty in Leominster Larry
A unusual sight nowadays, Bill. It looks very friendly.
Bill Phillips: We have three butcher's shops in Droiters
> This friendly shop would make paleo and primal food eaters happy.
Bill Phillips: I am sure they would Jacquelyn

This is the stuff to give 'em alright! A traditional butcher's shop with its old fashioned ceramic tiles is a thing of delight for me.

We aught have another breakfast sometime
Bill Phillips: I think we should. I am supposed to be trying to lose weight but I can always skip lunch and dinner grin

Did you sample the "Lovely Handraised Pork Pies"?
Bill Phillips: No I didn't We are on a weight losing regime at the moment.
Toute cette viande ne me fait pas envie. Jolie photo du magasin.
Bill Phillips: My younger daughter is a vegetarian. I have the best of both worlds as I like all food!

Oh, this is a very fine butcher shop! I would like to buy the lovely handmade pork pies.
Bill Phillips: I haven't tried them but I would think they are good

This is the real deal here, Bill. To me it is amazing and good to see that this butcher is still there. I hope he is doing fine. Nothing wrong with a good piece of meat.
Bill Phillips: I like my meat Astrid!

mmmm... my mouth is watering at the thought of the wonders on display. Southampton has just one proper butcher's now.
Bill Phillips: We have three in Droitwich

I like the inn sign, a flying cow instead of a 'flying pig'!
Bill Phillips: I thought it was a pig Philine

I like the shop, your picture - but not those prices. £2.20 for a pork pie? Must be a huge pie. Venison is also overpriced. (When I say 'overpriced', I am used to paying < 50% of those prices). The rabbit looks okay. One day, when I move to the UK, I will live of rabbit.
Bill Phillips: You are clearly in for a shock then Louis grin

we have two local butchers in Halesworth ..Those pork pies must be very small at that price
Bill Phillips: Individual I would imagine comrade
No need for me to look away, Bill, because pork may be my favorite of all meats!
Bill Phillips: Pork is my favourite too Ginnie
For some reason we always look in proper butcher shop windows, so much more appetising than the offerings in supermarkets.
Bill Phillips: WE have a few real butchers in Droitwich and a very nice smallholding farm not far away that does wonderful meat
I'm not a vegetarian so I would gladly do my shopping there. smile
Bill Phillips: It looked a very good shop!
