You could have convinced me that this was the lobby of an old hotel. Rather magnificent.

Very impressive. I'm pleased to see that it retains some of its original features all these years later.

I like whatever is shiny copper at the top of the stairs.
Bill Phillips: I Suspect it is probably wood but it has a nice shape
well framed and good treatment Bill... i'm sure that there have been many portraits of wedding parties taken on that staircase over the years....petersmile
