humorous how they have the typography stating womens mens kids

i like the wood framing on the storefronts like this
Bill Phillips: I don't think they have much idea about punctuation
I think the other Jimmy has a bigger shop Bill.
Bill Phillips: I bet this place is cheaper

This is interesting, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Well it amused me Ray
Hmmm. Is this a take-off on Jimmy Choo by any chance, Bill????
Bill Phillips: Do you think it might be Ginnie wink

Well I suppose somebody had to do this. I suppose it's a rare example of Walsall humour..
Bill Phillips: The Black country is a rich source of wonderful humour. Mind you most people would not have a clue what they were on about

Chris doesn't like the apostrophe, Bill
Bill Phillips: Nor do I.

Haha - our irish English teacher would ask us to correct ...I notice that even some Sc's forget the apostrophe.
Bill Phillips: It is a bit of a disaster Philine. The teaching of grammar seems to be in decline.

Hahaha!!! Very clever. The owner should expect a knock on the door from the brand police, though. I like the council offices for Walsall Council.
Bill Phillips: It made me smile even if it isn't very good grammatically

This shot works well with the colours and is nicely focused Bill.
Bill Phillips: If only Trim could do it as well as this

Des devantures très colorées.
Bill Phillips: They were certainly eyecatching Martine
I wonder which Jimmy came first. Clever.
Bill Phillips: Not this one
Wonderful - clearly an illiterate owner!
Bill Phillips: In an illiterate country Tom
Someone needs to sit down with the owner and force feed him/her lessons in grammar.
Bill Phillips: If facebook is anything to go by grammar is stone dead in the UK Larry

The signwriter is a rogue. I believe the apostrophe "s", should have been behind Jimmy and not the Shoes. To my knowledge a jimmy would refer to urinating, a crowbar and in certain circles a marijuana cigarette. So Jimmy Shoe's is a bit weird - special shoes for splashing, etc.
Bill Phillips: The apostrophe in shoes is wrong. It could be Jimmy's Shoes or perhaps Jimmy Shoe as it is a pun on Jimmy Choo I assume. Also as the womens mens and kids refers to types of shoe they should have an apostrophe. Wonderful language English. If only we English could only speak it properly

Apart from that apostrophe ........ a good play on words.
Bill Phillips: It is a nice idea
Nice that the old fashioned shop front has been kept despite the garish yellow of the shop name.
Bill Phillips: It is certainly eye catching Brian even though it is a bit lacking in grammar
it is not Jimmy's shoes, but Jimmy Shoe's, Bill... i had to scratch my head a bit.
Bill Phillips: That would certainly be correct Ayush.
Beautiful these suburban shops, we are disappearing supplanted by shopping centers.
Bill Phillips: Same here. We used to have distinctive town centres now they all look the same
