The arches certainly look quite sturdy and capable, Bill.
Bill Phillips: The Victorians knew what they were doing Ray
Jolie prise, j'aime le pont et ses arches.
Bill Phillips: It is a handsome viaduct Martine
I like the patterns of the arches!
Bill Phillips: The victorians knew how to lay bricks E

love the title : - )

catching the train on the bridge really makes a fine image

i like the greyscale choice
Bill Phillips: It must have been quite a sight in the days of steam trains Sherri
Oh, yes. I can see it in my mind's eye, Bill. I love it when I see the trains fly across the fields here in Dutchland.
Bill Phillips: This one is hardly flying Ginnie as it is almost at the station

This is a very fine image - now all covered with snow - I read about 47cm snow in the Midlands.
Bill Phillips: We have been quite lucky in Droitwich and seem to be on the fringe of the really bad snow. Mind you it is starting to snow quite heavily here now so I suspect we will not be going far tomorrow

Well done for taking a train pic, colour would probably be better tho'...
Bill Phillips: As I said to Chadders the cars are rather a distraction in the colour version

Now I know what that interesting looking bridge in Wednesday's picture, is for. Good one for b&w.
Bill Phillips: This rather handsome viaduct is one of Worcester's good bits

This is crazy Bill, do any of those cars know what they are doing?
Bill Phillips: In my experience no cars know what they are doing, and very few drivers

Colour for a Friday would be good but this is perfect for a Mondag.
Bill Phillips: In colour the cars were very distracting
I like this very much for the quality of light.
Bill Phillips: Winter light is often great

Having seen Michael Portillo on American trains and then on ours, ours are a completely disgrace; they looks so tatty. This one looks better, though.
Bill Phillips: Our trains are a shambles. Total lack of investment for about 60 years and then a mish mash privatisation. We haven't got a ruddy clue
Nice to see a shot of a train on that lovely viaduct. Reading your reply to Philine we haven't had very much snow here either, I think we have been very lucky so far, the roads are all clear although there is a hint of a few flakes falling as I type this.
Bill Phillips: It is actually snowing here quite steadily now but we have had very little compared to to a lot of places
From manual, excellent framing
Bill Phillips: Thank you Claudio
Makes a change, Bill
Bill Phillips: and they say a change is as good as a rest Tom
