Worcester odds and ends

More from the Hive. What is now a car park was once the cattle market and the building on the left is now part of the University of Worcester

It is nearly the same as yesterday's pic, Bill...still a fine view, too!
Bill Phillips: You noticed!

This picture is enough to make me pine for sunshine and warm weather. Although it doesn't really make me pine for Worcester..
Bill Phillips: I have never pined for Worcester in my life

Are you going to show a picture of The Hive, Bill?
Bill Phillips: Nope. I have shown it before and it hasn't changed Lisl. It is still ugly, but it is a very good library

We want the Hive, we want the Hive!
Bill Phillips: You can have it. You can have it!
Things do move on, not always suiting everyone.
Bill Phillips: There is a tendency to view the past through rose coloured spectacles, however, they have destroyed some wonderful buildings in Worcester

The cars seem to be parked in a Y-front formation.
Bill Phillips: So they do Louis!
I prefer the architecture of the viaduct to the modern building on the left.
Bill Phillips: I think most people would agree with you Brian
The lawns are of most interest here.
Bill Phillips: The viaduct is nice
I don't know which is worse, the pain from the op or this image, please stop it.
Bill Phillips: Cmon Shaw. Give vent and you will feel better!

Do I see correctly and did the person mowing the grass made that pattern in it. Looks great, Bill.
I love the touch of frost here and that beautiful backdrop with the arches.
Bill Phillips: Yes clearly a lawnmower artist Lady P
I thought it was a factory looking.
Bill Phillips: It was once part of the market and then a furniture store. Now it is part of the university. The hive is both a Public and University Library and as such is unique in the country

That building isn't one of ours I'm afraid; it's Heart of Worcestershire College. Everything else in the city is ours! smile
Bill Phillips: You mean it slipped through your fingers 😁
