Between the trees there is an object on the grass. An animal, a litter bin or a thing from outer space. I cannot tell..
Bill Phillips: I just looked at the original and it seems to be a piece of wood stuck in the ground. I have no idea why it is there,

A fine place for such a perambulation. Some welcome shade from the searing heat, too.
Bill Phillips: I cannot take searing heat so always seek out shade

Great composition and the b&w shows the dappling light off, in a satisfactory manner.

I try to walk at 3mph where ever I go ... when not taking snaps
Bill Phillips: Do you have a speedometer attached to your personage?
I appreciate the linearity of the trees that bring the eye to the focal point of the photo.
Bill Phillips: Thanks claudio. They certainly do lead the eye!
