The paths look look here after the day-long rain and snow melting. A nice, quiet scene!
Bill Phillips: This was before the snow and the path was a bit muddy following some rain

I hope he's paying attention in case his dog does doggy dos. One BBC series that did enjoy very much was "One Man and his Dog" . No doubt that if it ever came back, it would have a screaming audience, flashing lights and booming music and would mucked up just as they did with "Come Dancing". smile
Bill Phillips: So you were the one who watched one man and his dog. Wasn't that hosted by the legendary Phil "the power" Drabble

I liked that programme Alan mentioned. And agree with his comment. I used to sometimes watch Come Dancing, then the word Strictly was added and I immediately stopped.
Bill Phillips: Were you a fan of Frank and Peggy Spencer?

I used to watch One Person and their Dog back in the olden days. It was so boring it became a thing of interest beyond parody
Bill Phillips: It was to entertainment what the People's Friend is to investigative journalism
Will I pass this bit of canal on the company barge.
Bill Phillips: You will indeed but I hate to tell you that the snow has all gone now so your food parcels will not be needed
i always like dogs off their leashes, Bill... so this is good for both of them
Bill Phillips: It is good to see them able to run free
I like the reflections in the puddles leading us in.
Bill Phillips: The puddles were nicely spaced too grin
That's a healthy way to spend a nice morning, why don't I ever do this, oh I know, I haven't got a dog!
Bill Phillips: You could always borrow one Brian

The sort of sight I dreaded when I was out on my bike on the canal towpath... an unleashed dog!
Bill Phillips: The problem is the owners usually who have not trained the dog properly.

There are 17 comments ahead of mine, Bill, so what can I say?
Bill Phillips: You could say you will get up early tomorrow and comment first grin
I see that it is the dog that is keeping clear of the puddles!
