Un superbe ciel très menaçant.
Bill Phillips: It was just asking for this treatment Martine

Bill Phillips: It was a gorgeous short spell of light

This is so good, Bill. Those clouds and sea are so wonderful, what else do we need that a view like this every once in a while.....
Bill Phillips: First time we had been to the sea this year. I need to see it at least once a year
If it's not a tumultuous sky, it's a tumultuous sea, Bill. When they are both tumultuous together, THAT'S the day! In the meantime, I'll sit and enjoy THIS.
Bill Phillips: The calm was not going to last and nor was the light

a gorgeous photo! My congratulation!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Philine. I am delighted you like it
This is two photographs tarted up. The proportions are wrong and you are trying to be all arty farty.
Apart from that it is brilliant.
Bill Phillips: Piffle wink
God I love those clouds and the shadow on the water...
Bill Phillips: I am delighted you do Larry.

This looks like two pictures in one, Bill. I would love to picture a sky like that
Bill Phillips: It is a single picture Lisl. The picture was processed in silver efex pro which is great fun

This is stunning Bill and one of your finest. Even the border makes sense. You have been hiding you light under a bucket. I used to enjoy these two but have not heard them for ages.
Bill Phillips: I always like chas and Dave. I had forgotten this one until I heard Joe Brown do a live version that Ted likes

Beautiful silvery layers, but what I like most of the homage, is that you used a square frame, like associated with those old instamatic cameras.
Bill Phillips: I like square pictures and this one worked for me. Thanks Louis
,A fine image Bill, you have seen the light.
Bill Phillips: Thank you michael
I don't care if it is one or two images combined, it's the final image that counts and this one must go in your 'Best Images' folder, the sky is terrific.
Bill Phillips: It is a single image Brian. Processed mainly in Silver efex pro
I love the silvery seas and the sky is fantastic.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary. The light was great for the brief period it lasted
Nice bands, Bill....
Bill Phillips: Thanks Frank....
excellent image Bill...
i took a picture on the ocean with similar results... a section of bright silver water... then a dark layer above it and the shimmering of the sun on the surface in a thin line... but i didn't get a sky like that to top it all off...
ain't nature great....petersmile
A stunner, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank youTomsmile
