I bet you got some speed up on your rollerblades going down that hill, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is even steeper behind me so a fair lick would be achieved
i love those cool blue tones on the smooth waters, Bill. wonderful shot of the town down there basking in the light.
Bill Phillips: An hour or so after I took this it was raining!
And it's only 15 miles SE of Exeter??? OMG. I've been that close to it and have never seen it. So sorry I missed it, Bill.
Bill Phillips: There are so many places to see down there Ginnie. I lived in Exeter for about 15 years as a child and only ever went here once

I agree with you - and the red cliffs are beautiful! I like the expression "God's waiting room', never heard before.
Bill Phillips: The Jurassic coast is rather splendid Philine

Recognised it at once. This picture makes me realise just how much I like this Jurassic Coast
Bill Phillips: It is rather fine. I think I appreciate it more now than I did when I lived in Devon

This is such a wonderful view and I would love to walk that beach...

Bill Phillips: Very stony the beach. I prefer sand

You caught the evening light nicely and especially on those cliffs.
Bill Phillips: It was the morning Louis but you are right about the light
I bet you went to Exmouth next, we always do.
Bill Phillips: We did but it was p8ssing down with rain
We've not been there but have been to Sidmouth just up the coast. It looks to eb just as an interesting place.
Bill Phillips: You would like it Brian.
The red part looks like my beach! I have never seen a place where you must be caged to sit on a bench.
Bill Phillips: If you fell off that it was quite a drop and a lot of the inhabitants are getting on a bit....

It sounds my sort of place, then - as long as I can find a cafe with wifi. I believe that that I have been there once before but that wa back in 1966 when I cycled to Cornwall. I remember nothing other than the fact the hills are steep.
Bill Phillips: If you had come to Exmouth in 1966 you might have bought an ice cream or a cup of tea from me at one of the seafront cafes
A placid scene, quietly dominated by the police box...
Bill Phillips: The power of red!
Wonderful red cliffs!
Bill Phillips: The lovely Jurassic cost
A very pretty coastline, Bill - love your image!
Bill Phillips: It is indeed E. I think I appreciate it more now that I am old and grey
