one would be forced to hunt for a parking space here too, Bill. i like this image very much.
Bill Phillips: Thee are a lot of boats here now Ayush
So glad to hear that, Bill! This is lovely!
Bill Phillips: It took 40 years to do the work, which was done largely by volunteers and they even had to tunnel over the motorway whicgh was built over the canal after it closed
Tous bien alignés avec de jolis reflets.
Bill Phillips: The reflections are rather pleasing Martine
Great news for all, I'm sure, Bill. YAY.
Bill Phillips: It should benefit the town's economy Ginnie

At least it has provided somewhere for the boats to be moored during s the winter. Friends of mine usually have their Christmas Lunch in their narrow boat. One year, they were iced in but declined to seek help from any passing Russian icebreaker.
Bill Phillips: Boating folk are hardy and stoic...which is why I am not one

A real marina here and I love the blue covers and the red reflections. They proved to be smart opening up the canal again.
Bill Phillips: It took 40 years but it has been a great addition to the town Lady P

I didn't know you had a Marina, Bill. A good hunting ground for "Boat Friday"
Bill Phillips: It opened a couple of years ago Lisl and is a result of the final reopening of the Droitwich Junction Canal

I remember when you took us to see this Bill. I think it was newly opened then.
Bill Phillips: It was and had developed well since
Any houses for sale along the canal.
Bill Phillips: There are a number of desirable properties in reasonably close proximity
No shortage of H20 in Droitwich to float yer boat.
Bill Phillips: The canal is always full of the stuff Martin
I reckon you have enough there for the next 11 weeks, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: I could go there and get a year's worth Tom but I don't often post a boat Friday
Very odd that the colours are so similar.
Bill Phillips: A lot of these boats are owned by holiday company who hires them out
This was presumably a bit further along from where we walked, nice thing to have in town.
Bill Phillips: About a mile outside of town Brian
Any with gardens that lead down to the canal.
Bill Phillips: One or two and a whole road of houses that lead down to the mighty river Salwarpe
The only Spa in Droitwich is your bathroom with a tin bath and a potty.
Bill Phillips: Well they closed the bl**dy brine baths!
