a wonderful, tranquil atmosphere- but the man should not be smoking.
Bill Phillips: He was Vaping....one of those machines that produces vast amounts of steam

Looks like he's come up here for a quiet smoke, probably the only pleasure left in his life..
Bill Phillips: He was Vaping (dreadful word)
I like this ...
Bill Phillips: Gosh!......

I bet he would be kicking himself if he knew that there was a seat nearby.
Bill Phillips: It is the sort of thing comrade Trim would do
He is looking for the guiding light of Blackpool tower before he sets off up north. Everybody else has gone.
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha

I like this best out of all seven pictures, Bill. I wonder why he isn't sitting on the seat, but it is good thing he isn't as it makes a great composition as it is
Bill Phillips: I bet he had a damp bum sitting there

He probably sat in the spot when the mist was still thick and he could not see the seat at that time.
Bill Phillips: What a brilliant deduction Holmes
I like the composition and the way just past the seat the foreground drops away to who knows where.
Bill Phillips: Perhaps that is why he chose not to sit on it Brian

This looks a lovely place to sit and wonder and watch.
Bill Phillips: It is anne. You can imagine people who used to work in the Black Country escaping up here for clean air and peace and quiet
I love the mist in the distance...
Bill Phillips: It soon cleared Larry
Very good, Bill. As Elizabeth says you made the best of that day.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Frank. I didn't get long all these pictures in this series were taken in the space of about 30 minutes
