i like everything about this image, Bill - the shade over half the face, the slight tilt and the expression. it is unusual to my unaccustomed eyes to see a dark, sombre colour for a wedding.
Bill Phillips: I am delighted you like this one Ayush. I think people here wear all sorts of colours to weddings. This was in October so normally it would probably not have been as bright and sunny a day so darker colours would look right. She did look very smart
What a beautiful shot, you got the lighting just right
Bill Phillips: It took a bit of work in Lightroom!

Doesn't look old enough. I dread to think of the cost of the hat!
Bill Phillips: I believe she hired the hat

Handy outfit for a funeral as well Bill.
Bill Phillips: Well these days one tends to go to more of those than weddings
Super shot, Bill. The lighting on her face is perfect.
Good looking lady
Bill Phillips: Yes she is Michael
Ooh, wearing black to her daughter's wedding.
Bill Phillips: It is Navy Blue Mary
Got to admit the brides mother is very attractive for her age and well turned out, and I mean that in the most respectable fashion.
Bill Phillips: She did look very smart Brian
