Excellent composition and lighting.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Bonnie smile
I like the point of view you took for this - and the sky is really lovely!

A charming place inside of which are some historical figures of interest
Bill Phillips: We didn't go in this time as Ted was feeling a bit grumpy but from past visits I can concur

You could have entitled this 'Church partially obscured by a bush'. Anyway, it looks in good focus and is vertically true.
Bill Phillips: Not exactly a snappy title. This is a teaser picture to encourage shutterchancers to visit next September for Tiffday

I don't know how true Pevsner was about the exterior but he's right about the interior. The church looks lovely against the sky.
Bill Phillips: The interior is very fine

We don't have old buildings like this, which is a pity. It does add to one's sense of belonging, I think.
Bill Phillips: We have a long history and are lucky to have quite a lot of old buildings to remind us of our past.

A lovely image Bill, are you going to take us inside?
Bill Phillips: Not this time. We had Ted with us and he had had enough!
I hope I can make it to see the inside!
Bill Phillips: Worth it tom!

Bill Phillips: Now you mention it I don't think it has
I will look forward to visiting this church if it is open.
Bill Phillips: It usually is Brian
I like square tower churches.
Bill Phillips: They can be very pleasing.
