Hidcote Manor Gardens 11

Sadly we had to have our cat Kammie put to sleep yesterday. She was nineteen and she declined rapidly over the last few days. We have had cats all our married life but she will be the last.

A gorgeous image, Bill.

Sad to hear about Kammie, but...are you sure you can live without a cat in the home?
Bill Phillips: Pleased you like it Ray. We decided some time ago that Kammie would be our last cat. It will seem strange though
A lovely image, Bill - and I'm so sorry about Kammie. It sounds like she's had a good, long life though.
Bill Phillips: She did. She was always healthy and active so it was particularly sad to see her in the last few days
The image really is gorgeous, Bill, but I share your loss of Kammie, whom I've met in real life. May she RIP...and you, too, as you feel her loss in the days to come.
Bill Phillips: She was a lovely cat but her time and come and there was no point in letting her linger

Gorgeous - the photograph!

Oh, how sad to accept the inevitable - Kammie had a very good life chez vous!
Bill Phillips: She did and it will seem strange not having a cat.

Poor ole Kammie, you gave her a very good life.

I'm a fan of hoverflies, this is a brilliant image
Bill Phillips: She had a good innings.

I am overjoyed that you like this picture

I feel sad thinking of little Cammie, who I saw last week. What's the matter with me?
Bill Phillips: She declined rapidly after your visit....I don't mean to imply there was a connection
Nice image Bill , sorry to hear about Kammie.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Michael. Yes a shame but she was 19 and had had a good life

The loss of a four-legged friend ... sorry to read about it.
Another excellent macro shot, and with action in it.
Bill Phillips: Sad when you lose them but she had a good innings

When I decline rapidly I hope they will do the same for me ... Always sad news though.
Bill Phillips: What do you mean when?
I lkke the picture Bill, a competition winner for me. Sorry to hear about your cat, I know it's an old saying but at nineteen she done well, no doubt because she was well looked after by you and the family.
Bill Phillips: She has done well and apart from a bit of a fright last year she has never had anything wrong with her.

Pleased you like the picture

My condolences on the loss of your beloved Kammie. Perhaps a cat will come along needing you. Excellent photo!
Bill Phillips: We don't think we will have another. We have had cats for along time but I think that time is now passed.
