Allington Manor

This is the delightful place where I stayed with the other stooges on our recent visit to the East Midlands a.k.a pork pie land. A grade II listed Jacobean Manor house. You don't get B&Bs like this in Skegness.

The breakfast was good too

We had a good time , increasingly it seems like we are auditioning for a remake of Last of the summer wine but we would be very good in it.

Does it have a back yard, with grass, tables, seats, and a big ice-box full of cold'uns, Bill?

Your vid is not available in Thailand.
Bill Phillips: Shame you can't get the vid Ray. Don't know about the back yard. There was a garden but I can't recall what it was like
It does look like a lovely place!
Bill Phillips: I think you would love it E
really liking this structure, Bill, especially those stocky looking chimneys.

Yes, a charming B&B for me, too. I love also the high birch in the centre of the place.

Oohh I say; this does look very grand. Looks the sort of place you can get a decent breakfast, too.
Bill Phillips: The breakfast was of a very high standard Alan
Happy memories, along with many others of our escapades over recent years.
Bill Phillips: We have had some fun and, hopefully, we will have much more in the years to come
This looks a nice place Bill, I will look it up in case we fancy a night away some time.
Bill Phillips: You would love it Brian and the pub across the way is excellent
I can just see you all as characters on British TV.
Bill Phillips: Sadly so can I
Looks a bit like the rest home my parents are in.

I would LOVE to watch that remake, Bill. The three of you would be just perfect. I think I should come along and be a fly (or a pigeon) on the wall the next time you meet and make an undercover documentary featuring you all.
Bill Phillips: I think Compo has to be Comrade Trim. Chad as Foggy and Chris as Clegg. I will help to write the scripts
Who's going to play Compo?

Fortunately, for your sanity, the place has many rooms to stow the other guys.
Bill Phillips: and very thick walls Louis
