Beautiful in its unique eccentric manner!
Bill Phillips: I guess they were built by coachmakers
It's kind of funny looking... but I like it!
Bill Phillips: Well it was made in 1934, so it was the height of modernity once

I love these Omnibusse (German word) with their big snouts.
Bill Phillips: I have always loved these single decker buses that were often seen on country routes
I am full of admiration for people who restore and keep clean these old buses. Something I could never get involved in but enjoy the work of others.
Bill Phillips: If I had the time I think I could quite enjoy it. Trouble is that apart from cleaning I wouldn't be any use for anything else

With a cab like that, the bus was operated with a conductor. The bus is a beauty.
Bill Phillips: It is rather fine.
I don't recall ever seeing one of those, but what a beauty, especially that curved bit on the nearside front.
Bill Phillips: Rather elegant I thought Brian
