Melton Mowbray 7

This was rather an interesting mural that I stumbled across. Pork Pie features so what more do you need to know?

That is quite sufficient information, Bill.
Bill Phillips: 'twas all I needed Ray

Jolie façon de décorer un mur.
Bill Phillips: It looks good and hides a rather unattractive wall!

There can be only one place where pork pies would be celebrated in this way. And by jove weren't they top quality!
Bill Phillips: They were magnificent, worth the trip if we had done nothing else
Most interesting, Bill. It looks like miniature pewter plaques leaning against the wall.
Bill Phillips: I'm not sure what it was actually made of Ginnie

Yes, I read the word 'porkpie' - there is to see so much - an extraordinary artwok!
Bill Phillips: It seemed rather tucked away which is a shame as it is rather good

How could you have resisted, Bill?
Bill Phillips: I couldn't and didn't Lisl
I don't remember seeing this?

This really looks great, somebody had fun making this.
Bill Phillips: I am sure they did Astrid but I wonder if locals even notice it?
I've not seen this before. Real Melton Mowbray really take some beating, the ones in supermarkets are but poor copies.
Bill Phillips: I can't argue with that Brian. The pork pies alone were worth the trip

They make me think of rather large unused ink stamps. Plonk one on an inked then blob it a large sheet of paper. I assume that there is sort sort of story being told here but I can't see what it is.
Bill Phillips: Richard the third liked pork pies?
A very interesting bit of work, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I rather liked it Tom
is that a permanent fixture, Bill? probably it means more to those familiar with place.
Bill Phillips: As far as I know Ayush. it looked as if it had been there for some time
very interesting...
