A visit to Wichenford

This is another one. Nice and colourful so I imagine it is Victorian ...my namesake would know.

glorious colors...
Bill Phillips: The Victorians liked their stained glass
The colors are really beautiful!
Interesting song - very 80's!
Bill Phillips: 1992. A much underrated songwriter and singer in my humble opinion

Fabulous colours and I love the yellow tulips with them.
Bill Phillips: I seem unable to escape tulips this year grin
I'm taking it as a memorial of sorts, Bill, after the Manchester atrocity. (sigh)
Bill Phillips: Posted before it happened but it does seem appropriate

I'm not your namesake, but it has Victorian all over it, Bill
Bill Phillips: I certainly does

Some little bloke, sitting on his dad's knee...
Quite a fun video. The tin man shows what happens if you keep squeezing that spot on the end of your nose.
Bill Phillips: I love the song but the video is pretentious drivel
Most Victorian glass is rather too coulerful for me
Bill Phillips: I like it. I know Chris isn't keen either
Colourful even
Bill Phillips: That is a better word than your first effort

I bow to superior knowledge here; others think its Victorian. All I know is that it is very colourful.
Bill Phillips: Most of the stained glass in churches is victorian
I've been reading a book about how churches have been built and altered/updated over the centuries and it does seem that, apart from a few exceptional cases, nearly all stained glass derives from the Victorian period when they done all the alterations to churches to make them look how they thought a church should look!
Bill Phillips: What we think of of a traditional parish church is really a Victorian makeover. Still I like Victorian grin

gorgeous
Bill Phillips: I am pleased you think so Jennie
Yes - I think you are right, there, Bill.
Bill Phillips: A pretty safe assumption Tom smile
They have had lots of beautiful flowers to go with the exquisite windows.
Bill Phillips: A lot of churches are beautifully decorated with flowers.
