A visit to Wichenford

Where? I hear you ask

Wichenford is a village and civil parish (with Kenswick) in the Malvern Hills District in the county of Worcestershire, England. It lies 6 miles to the north-west of the city of Worcester.

Where better to start than by enjoying the view looking out from the Masons Arms where Ange and I were about to have lunch

Just the spot for a Bacon Buttieerie, Bill!
Bill Phillips: True, and the pub that is there may not do bacon butties but what it does offer is very nice!
Très joli champ de colza.
Bill Phillips: A relatively recent addition to the English countryside I believe

I love the yellow rape fields now - a nice image!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Philine
Nothing that black and white would not improve 100%.
Bill Phillips: Indeed a field of yellow oilseed rape just cries out to be rendered into b&w

It all looks very attractive. Ido like the flower tubs on top of the tree stumps. How was lunch?
Bill Phillips: Excellent. Ange also went there with Kathryn and Luke for an evening meal while I was away on a dangerous expedition to the Eastern Midlands
A field of canola to stare at is pretty nice.
Bill Phillips: Certainly adds a splash of colour!
WE have acres of fields with OSR growing this year round our way. I like the half and half tree.
Bill Phillips: It is everywhere Brian. Lots of people hate it ....especially if they suffer from hay fever.
Good to know that the trip was for a serious purpose, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Too right Tom. Detailed local research
