I arrived nice and early for the meet up with the reprobates so I had a litle wander around the town. This was near where I parked and can be readily described as unexciting

a fitting shot to give out the message that excitement is about to commence, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It could only get better

Your description is spot-on, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thank you Lisl. I try to be accurate

I do hope that this will not turn into Chad-like photos of his travels; he has not nothing to helming[ the tourism industry of AusMexCub.This is slightly more interesting, though, as it would appear that the concrete beams on the bridge appear to be sagging between their uprights.
Bill Phillips: I could never maintain Chad's standard. Now you mention it that concrete does look to be sagging

This picture is worthy of Chad

It's that bad..
Bill Phillips: I was inspired by the master of the banal travel shot

The fence is rather nice.
Bill Phillips: The best bit by far Philine. Happily the rest of Melton Mowbray was much nicer than this bit

I see your little red toy car in there, Bill.
Bill Phillips: No that isn't mine Ray. My little red car was in the car park behind where I was standing
Must remind you of Droitwich.
Bill Phillips: More like the North Michael. Droitwich is a paradise on earth
I knew precisely where this is as soon as the picture opened, they have beautiful flower baskets all the way across that bridge during the summer months. When we came back on Friday afternoon from Ely after the funeral the day before it took us just short of an hour to get from two miles outside Melton to the East, through the centre and out on the road leading to the west and Loughborough!!!!! (The word bottleneck is an understatement!)
Bill Phillips: That would certainly improve it! Fridays are often a nightmare on the roads.
The Dalek adds excitement...
Bill Phillips: and Lord knows this picture needs it
I had a friend who collected uninteresting postcards - I think he'd envy this smile
Bill Phillips: what a wonderful hobby. This would be right up his street
