garage 4 of several

Right that's got rid of some of the old boxes now I can get in the garage again.  Those plastic boxes on the left contain what we call  the old and interesting  although they are often old but not very interesting at all.

They would probably burn as well as coal, Bill...Just sayin'
Bill Phillips: If only I had a wood burner....
the Europe book looks interesting...
Bill Phillips: It certainly looks thick!

The book about EUROPE might not be as interesting as in former times in England now.
Bill Phillips: Perhaps people should have read it before the referendum

A nightmare I would say, all that sorting
Bill Phillips: Second nature these days...we have had years of practice

There will be no demand for "Europe" any more - the public have voted.
Bill Phillips: Strange how for once the government has taken notice of the public.....
Tiff is old BUT interesting. oh well, off to Lundun again.
Bill Phillips: Certainly old. Lundun eh? Business or pleasure?

She will have to write a new chapter soon, let's hope it is a positive one!
Bill Phillips: I wouldn't bank on it Mike
Put Frantic Semantics aside for me.
Bill Phillips: Fair enough
I see there's a cat book there, perhaps you could auction it off among all our Caturday fans.
Bill Phillips: We get quite a few cat books but seldom sell any

Bill Phillips: When they were kept in a shed at one of the other Lions house who lives next to a farm we did. Now we tend not to as we have always had cats

Great Britain will remain a part of Europe (in many aspects) even if it will leave the EU. Europe is more than EU, and I don't understand why some persons are always differenciating between UK and Europe. They are and they remain Europeans whatever will be happening!
Bill Phillips: Sadly may people in this country do not regard either the country or themselves as European. That 20 odd miles of water has a lot to answer for. It is crazy. Our Royal family is German, many of our churches were built by Normans. Our Language is European well from western Germany origins. Many people here only think in terms of the EU as if it is some evil foreign entity designed to do us down. Successive British governments have failed to play a positive part in the development of the EU. Had they done so, with the clout of bring one of the biggest contributors to the budget, both Britain and the EU would have been the better for it. As it is now there is a real prospect of the collapse of the Euro single currency (perhaps not a total disaster) and the collapse of the EU itself. With America under the dreadful Trump the prospect of American isolationism and withdrawal (in part) from NATO this makes Europe very vulnerable to expansionism by Russia. Of course I may well be reading things totally incorrectly.

You are so bloody organized, Billiam
Bill Phillips: Is it that obvious comrade?
I often find that when I keep things because I think I'll treasure them later.... I don't, actually, treasure them later...
Bill Phillips: We are trying to declutter but spend our time accumulating stuff for our Lions Sale. Then sometimes we buy the stuff ourselves grin
PS: Your response to Philine is interesting... exactly how I feel about trump-land. We are a nation of immigrants - and unless you're Native American... you ain't really American! OR We're ALL American. There's no in between.
Bill Phillips: Agreed Elizabeth
