Family pictures 1

I have a box of old snaps which I am trying to finally get round to scanning. So I thought I would share a few post Christmas

The lady on the right is my mother who died in 1990 I would guess this is about 1986 (Ange might know or Kathryn) I think this was taken at Great Witley

Trois générations qui se ressemblent.
Bill Phillips: It all seems so long ago and yet also like yesterday
Time does such a number on us all, Bill, doesn't it! What would we do without these photos to remind us. How fun.
Bill Phillips: It does it so blinking quickly too Ginnie

30 years ago.... I often say.... I am happy we still have the pictures. Time flies and we might forget.
What a wonderful family picture of 3 generation women...
Bill Phillips: Hard to believe Helen will be 37 on New Year's day

A very nice family pic, and now of course a precious piece of history

Lovely memories - I think Helen looks a bit like the lady on the left - three generations in harmony - how wonderful!
Bill Phillips: That is Angela. They are quite a lot alike

Nice family snap, Bill.

You have learned a few compositional twiddles since then!
Bill Phillips: In those days I had no way of twiddling
Great to see an old family snap Bill, and how we all change.
Bill Phillips: Some of us not for the better

When we were small and Christmas trees were tall ...
Bill Phillips: I always liked that song
Isn't it lovely to look back!
Bill Phillips: It is Mary.
A very fine shot of the important ladies in your life Bill. Time really does move too quickly doesn't it. I worked out today that this is our 46th.Christmas together since we married (it will yours and Angie's also of course) and the 49th.since we first met, perhaps we should do something special for our 50th.Christmas next year, take the weight off Maureen a bit!
Bill Phillips: We are the same as we met in April 1968.
it's a wonderful memory to go back and scan old pictures Bill...
your mother looks a lot like Penny's Mum... but she was a Scott....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Just realised I misread your comment! My mother was from Lancashire
I love multi generational pics
Bill Phillips: They are rather special
Family photo's are a cherished find
Bill Phillips: Very much so E
