George and Lesley

My brother and sister in Law. This was before they were married. So I would think this was taken in about 1966. George is not well at the moment and is having treatment for cancer. He is due to start Chemo in January. He is very upbeat and so is the specialist. So I will be thinking of him and wishing him well.

Today is his 69th birthday.

Tie pins are rarely worn these days, Bill...except, perhaps in Bath, England.
Bill Phillips: This is when they were worn through the collar Ray

50 years together and to have to go through this struggle. Happy birthday and I hope things will go well for George.
Bill Phillips: Lesley was 19 when they got married in 1969 so she and I are virtually the same age.
