The sunlight and the deep blue sky bring this church to life.
Bill Phillips: It was a beautiful December day Jacquelyn

Some of the standing stones seem to have paired up...soon there will be wedding bells.
Bill Phillips: I suspect they already were and she has been laid to rest next to him to keep an eye on him
Very nice isn't it!
Bill Phillips: It is E. I would have liked to have seen the inside but it was locked
Definitely one I'd want to see...and hear, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is a nice little church. Sadly it was locked so I couldn't get to see inside

I love this silent, warm atmosphere - I only miss the English flag.
Bill Phillips: Sadly the church was locked so I didn't get to see inside

This looks fabulous in this light. It looks just the sort of place to enjoy a good Christmas sign song.
Bill Phillips: I like singing Carols .......others probably don't like having to listen to me though

Pretty little place, very nice too
Bill Phillips: Claines is nice and there is a very popular pub by the church
Quite the perfect picture Bill, the light and sky were very kind to you.
Bill Phillips: I managed to get out and take some snaps on a nice day. That statement has nothing to do with this picture though

Magnifique sous cette jolie lumière.
Bill Phillips: The light was wonderful Martine
Very pretty in that light.
Bill Phillips: It is indeed Mary
What a call a very fine, and typical, English parish church. My Dad was a bell ringer for many years at the church I grew up in, strangely that was a St.John the Baptist one.
Bill Phillips: It is just that Brian. An interesting coincidence. Did you ever try your hand at ringing

Oh, it should be great to attend this beautiful place while the bells are tolling. Enjoy your rest after this week smile
Bill Phillips: I wish it had been unlocked so that I could see inside. A nice quiet day tomorrow before they all come on Christmas day to be fed. Still we are only 8 so having a small family has its advantages grin

There is something very wrong with the weather this Winter, I can't help worrying we are all going to pay later!

Fine looking Church.
Bill Phillips: We may well pay at some stage but every year I think we must be due a bad winter and nothing happens
I have the spade ready Bill.
Bill Phillips: There is a good pub next door
you framed this church perfectly with the sunlight streaming across the headstone in the cemetery Bill...

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Penny and ....petersmile
