All the fun of the fair

We had the switch on of the Christmas lights yesterday. At 4.30 you couldn't move for people. Ange and I went to a Concert by the community choir at 5pm and when we came out....everybody had gone.

Superbe photo de nuit.
Bill Phillips: Merci bien Martine
for some reason, the first thought i had was of a zombie movie, where a fair is taken over. the scenes building up to the climax were something like this.
Bill Phillips: Strewth Ayush! I am glad it wasn't grin
This is a great shot, Bill! Lucky you!
Bill Phillips: Thanks E. We couldn't believe how deserted it was!

You couldn't have done better then, Bill - an uninterrupted view!
Bill Phillips: It was fine for me but I can't see it was worth their while. Happy birthday by the way!!

This is quite bizarre without people
Bill Phillips: Not long after apparently, they were packing up and going home. People were saying the rides were too expensive for what they were.

Oh yes! This epitomises that true meaning of Christmas. I'm sure "City Limits" is often mentioned in the Bible (although I must admit not having opened one since RE stopped being compulsory at school). Did you and Ange have several rides on this?
Bill Phillips: I don't like funfairs....never have.
Excellent shot of the lights.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary.
No doubt the people with the fairground attractions weren't too happy when everybody cleared off, it is rather strange isn't it.
Bill Phillips: A bit of a damp squib Brian!
I liked Ayush's take smile
Bill Phillips: Took me by surprise grin
This isn't bad coming from you.
