Bittofatwiddle 3

This is an artist's impression. You know when they have big hoardings up and they are building a great new development behind and they put this great picture on the hoarding of what it will look like only it never does.

In this case thank goodness it doesn't

Note to Michael Shaw....don't look at this

C'est très bien fait.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Martine
I think you're spot on...
Bill Phillips: We had a good example in Worcester when they were building the new business faculty at Worcester Uni. The hoarding showed this magnificently landscaped site. sadly the money seemed to run out and all that was left for landscaping was a bit of grass

Looks like that had quite a few left-over bollards to play with, too, Bill.
Bill Phillips: To keep the cars off this pedestrian paradise Ray

Some of these creators have a too big of an imagination... always wonder why. Don't they teach in school to show the proper scale??
I hope Mr. Shaw did not look at this....
Bill Phillips: If they showed the reality it would depress us all
Yup...the archtitect's ephemeral rendition, indeed.
Bill Phillips: It struck me that way Ginnie

Hahah! Yes, it does look a bit like that. A Utopian view that never seems to materialise.
Bill Phillips: It is usually the "landscaping" that goes

Twiddleage at its best! But where are the people? You seem to have cloned them out?
Bill Phillips: There is one person Philine! grin
You have excelled yourself in destroying what, for all we know, might have been a reasonable picture. Twiddle away oh twiddler.
Bill Phillips: That is the whole point of it. Use you imagination man. what's wrong with you?
Still in Preston, this just makes the day even worse..
Bill Phillips: I did tell you not to look. Hope things improve in Preston
I quite like your sky.
Bill Phillips: Well that's something

Phew that's a relief, I thought it was a William Twiddle. No no no, you mean it is a twiddle.....aaaargh!
Bill Phillips: Scary isn't it?
I actually like this, it is so outlandish one can't but enjoy seeing it, I would love to put a picture in my club with this sort of finish just for the hell of it.
Bill Phillips: Why not? It would be fun

You have got it spot on Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Anne!!
i hope that they built this development better than the picture on the hoarding... it all looks so sterile...

So true, Bill, on how they always put a wonderful picture on how it will look before any development!!
Bill Phillips: And it never look like that!
