That canal will be filling with soggy tree detritus, Bill! Do the Lion Club clean it out each weekend?
Bill Phillips: We are not THAT public spirited. The canal trust might do though
C'est magnifique avec toutes ces feuilles dorées au sol.
Bill Phillips: The lack of wind in the last week or so has led to great carpets of leaves like this
A magnificent dreamful image to me Bill!
Bill Phillips: The leaves have no bee en blown about as we have had very little wind over the last couple of weeks

A wonderful autumn image - we could in Münster, if there were not the narrowboat.
Bill Phillips: It is lovely having the canal open and boats like this to enrich the autumn scene Philine

Very attractive. What lovely jigsaw puzzle this would make. For the first time I can properly enjoy autumn; one of the great many benefits of retirement.
Bill Phillips: I wouldn't fancy having to do it!

Pity about the litter bin but yes, very nice
Bill Phillips: Not forgetting the dog poo bin in the background. People should be more considerate where they park their boats

At this rate, it will soon be covered in leaves, Bill
Bill Phillips: It isn't far off. The lack of wind has led to this I imagine Lisl
The golden colours are superb Bill. It works well with this barge sailing through the sea of leaves.
Bill Phillips: It was a great sight on a beautiful sunny morning as I strolled through the park without a care in the world
Very pretty and it smells good too. I guess you don't have to rake leaves if you live on a houseboat.
Bill Phillips: Probably not. I can't think of many other advantages to living on one though

Yep, definitely Autumn. The litter bin does destroy the ambience a tad, but better than seeing the litter.
Bill Phillips: The dog muck bin didn't help either but it was the only boat!
You had fine conditions for this Bill, a lovely Autumn picture. Tomorrow we are going to Stoneywell Cottage, the new NT place near us, for the third time just to walk through the gardens and woodland with all the autumn colours, in the Sun, we hope!
Very pretty!
