It's fascinating to see two different views of the same thing. You must have taken this on a different day; they were red cars at the toll barriers when I was there smile
Bill Phillips: Drat....I am exposed

What a dramatic sky - Astrid's sky was quite less threatening - I like this posting of the bridge the most, I see also the road along the Avon.
Bill Phillips: A little bit of adjustment on my part Philine smile

It's a long way down, Bill. How sad that Brunel never saw this completed
Bill Phillips: That just adds to the achievement of our Isambard. He worked himself to death in the pursuit of fame and fortune
Very impressive Bill! I know quite well the place.
Bill Phillips: It is one of the best known landmarks in the country Richard
I'm getting bored with looking at this now Bill, you should have been first. Ok I will stir the memory. At school a group of us decided to cycle to Brean down for a week's camping holiday. We cycled over here on our way.
Bill Phillips: What a fine memory Chad. I used to ride a bicycle...hard to believe I know

A fine photo young man. Good clouds.
Bill Phillips: The light wasn't great but a bit of twiddling helped
Good thing we oldies have shorter memories.
Bill Phillips: About what Mary? ........
I don't mind seeing this again, it is a lovely bridge.
Bill Phillips: It is Brian. Funnily enough I have driven on that road below many times but have never driven over the bridge or seen it from this viewpoint before
That's a stunner, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. It is a great view!
