Packwood House 12 of a lot

This is the long gallery. Typically Tudor except that it isn't and was built by the last owner who filled it with rescued bits from other houses

Although it must be nice to see his fine furniture, this would look good empty but for tapestry or paintings, Bill
Bill Phillips: It would Lisl. I believe the bloke who left the house to the trust also left instructions where everything was to go

A great place for indoor bike riding. I'd need lights, though, as it all looks a bit gloomy with the dark furniture and wall coverings.
Bill Phillips: More exciting without lights though

Are you hanging from the chandelier, or is it a low ceiling? A bit dark and requiring those lamps to be lit in daylight.
Bill Phillips: No and well not really and it didn't feel dark

I think all my stuff could easily fit into this house, Bill. When can I move in?
Bill Phillips: I think you really need the Airship hangars at Cardington for your stuff Penny
just a little bit of vacant spot on the right wall, Bill - the rest all surfaces are well stacked.
Bill Phillips: Just room for a small shutterchance exhibition
Ditto for liking the floors... an eclectic mix of details...
Bill Phillips: There was some wonderful stuff Larry. Any one of those pieces of furniture would do for me!
The guy responsible for building this on certainly had imagination and made a good job.
Bill Phillips: He was a pioneer of conservation i think Brian
