you did a great treatment on this image Bill... the dog walker doesn't look like a short fat fellow...and the sky has nice blue colours between the clouds....petersmile
Bill Phillips: All that waiting for the dog ...he is wasting away

The mutt is thirsty...it is back for another go of that moat water...
Bill Phillips: The owner has waited so long he has lost weight

The cathedral has become narrower and the sky is bluer. Thus shot is better.
Bill Phillips: Amazing what you can do in lightroom

... shame that the dog is right on the edge of the image now, though. Could you clone in some water from he previous image?
Bill Phillips: Actually I have a feeling there is a tool that will allow that but I don't know how to use it

I see you have straightened the building - a very nice image
Bill Phillips: The original version was a mess

I prefer the former image, but I cannot explain why.
Bill Phillips: The other one is HDR Philine and I hadn't corrected the distortion of the building
I prefer this one which looks more natural to me Bill!
Bill Phillips: I agree Richard
I still use ShiftN for most of my image straightening although can tend to squeeze the image up a bit. Still a fine image and I like the slightly different depth of colour in this.
Bill Phillips: This was done in lightroom and is a single image rather than a three image HDR.
A rather gentler treatment that works very well, Bill
Bill Phillips: I thought so too Tom
