she is cleaning up the beach Bill... i hope that she can get some money from the tins that she picks up....petersmile
Bill Phillips: She was collecting seaweed Peter and would not have received any money for the can
It's a sad day when we need at least one conscientious person for every reckless one out there, Bill, but thank goodness there are those who still care. I know for sure this was not YOUR soda can!
Bill Phillips: You are correct Ginnie it was not! She was collecting seaweed and picked up this can to dispose of properly i imagine

I think this is a public spirited citizen rather than someone searching for treasure

If I lived by the sea I'm sure I would do a bit of the latter..
Bill Phillips: She seemed to have been collecting seaweed

Yes, everything can be used. Therea May wants now to take more care for those poor people.
Bill Phillips: She was collecting seaweed. I am led to believe it is very good for you!

Good for her. The amount of rubbish in the seas is appalling. Mind you, she could be emptying her rubbish on the beach...

Oh...look...a cylindrical, metal rock!
Bill Phillips: There are a lot of them on our beaches
Is she throwing rubbish around from out of that bag Bill?
Bill Phillips: She is not. She was collecting seaweed and was public spirited enough to also pick up the can

Someone who appreciates the benefits of kelp in their diet rather than an environmentalist as your photo suggests. The tin dropper should be dragged down by the ear and made to pick it up.
Bill Phillips: Indeed her bag was full of seaweed!

Comme dans beaucoup d'endroit, la plage est très sale.

A picture full of social comment - great!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis. I think she was actually collecting some seaweed. I think she picked up the can because she was public spirited
I live not very far from a lady who's favourite pastime on the beach is looking for shells, we've had box loads of them over the years.
Bill Phillips: This Lady was collecting seaweed Brian
We need to keep our beaches clean. Over here they have these things called trash cans...
I guess the can could have been thrown off a ferry in the Irish sea!
