I only visited the place once, in the mid '70s, and it didn't look as vibrant as you present it here
Bill Phillips: It has had a lot of work done on it in recent years

Like Chris, my only visit was back in the 1970s. Based on your images, though, I've had half a mind to go back - perhaps when the next tropical heat wave hits southern England. Trouble is that the school will be on holiday and prices are sky high. Did you ride on the Vale of Rhediol Railway?
Bill Phillips: It isn't half bad. Sadly didn't get to any railways!

What town isn't a University town these days Bill, Ciren is one.
Bill Phillips: Aber has a proper one
An American friend did a stint as a visiting lecturer for a year - I warned him that he was going to the edge of the known Western world. When he got there he wrote to me saying that it was "ten miles beyond the edge" smile
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha very good Tom
Lots of hills to climb in that city.
Bill Phillips: One or two Mary
I do like that round building in the pastel shade...
Bill Phillips: So do i and it works well amongst the largely Victorian seafront

Looks very fine Bill, and not a breath of wind. I don't know West Wales at all.
Bill Phillips: You would like it I would think Mike. We have stayed near Cardigan a few time now and really like the area
quite a bit of activity going on here, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is a busy resort Ayush
Fancy living at the top of that hill and having to walk back up there every day after work if one doesn't have a car!
Bill Phillips: It would keep you fit Brian grin
