I don't think so, Bill...there is no sagging pile of boxes of empty wine bottles...

It is a lovely pic, though...
Bill Phillips: There is a pub close by so perhaps they drink there
They do look rather stationary...
Bill Phillips: I don't think they have moved in some time

Joli chemin où il doit faire bon se promener. Les bateaux sont un plus.
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely place to walk and the boats are very much part of the landscape
a welcome shady path on a cheerful, sunny day, Bill. i love this scene.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ayush. It was a particularly nice morning

I wonder about living on a canal boat; I assume that there is no council tax and suchlike. Despite that benefit, I think I'll stick to bricks and mortar.
Bill Phillips: I don't know about tax but i imagine the mooring fees are not cheap. This mooring is very handy for a couple of pubs

Yes they have that look about them, we have plenty of such dwellings on the K&A
Bill Phillips: Not a bad lifestyle in some ways
They have probably been there for quite a while Bill. A fine stroll spot.
Bill Phillips: They have Richard. I seem to have been passing them for years on the nearby road

A peaceful existence, Bill
Bill Phillips: I would imagine so Lisl
from this point of view Bill... the canal boat in the middle looks like it has been squashed... and turned into junk....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Actually the one closest was in very sad shape Peter!

Not a life for me, I would always be banging my head!
Bill Phillips: Hahaha you probably would Mike.
There are a lot of boats lived on permanently up our way.
Bill Phillips: It seem to be a popular lifestyle Brian
