Most Pommies are like that, eh, Bill...can't play rugby or cricket to save themselves, so they have moved on to other things...
Bill Phillips: We did better in the T20 that you did!

J'aime beaucoup les boiseries qui donnent un aspect rustique à  ce wagon.
Bill Phillips: They are rather rustic Martine

What a great shot, I know there are people that know 'everything' about trains and don't try to tell them different...
Bill Phillips: It is a hobby that is a great part of their lives. They don't do anybody any harm so good luck to them
These old cars were charming Bill!
Bill Phillips: Indeed so Richard.
I really like the wood paneling!
Bill Phillips: It is wonderful.

Why are men usually the only train enthusiasts, Bill?
Bill Phillips: There are plenty of women too but I guess the majority are men who all wanted to be engine drivers when they were kids
Oh, yes, I'm sure of it!
Bill Phillips: They are very dedicated

I'll join a steam locomotive trip next month, too - I love your compostion and the title!
Bill Phillips: How exciting Philine. Where?
The only steam I know about is boiling the kettle Bill.
Bill Phillips: And you don't do that very often
This fellow seems he is in rapture.
Bill Phillips: Almost certainly Mary

Uh, oh - Ray!

Quite an interesting phenomenon you are onto. I guess it all started with that Meccano steam engines. Then next he wants to become a mechanical engineer, but his maths and physical science let him down. Which doesn't mean that he can't figure out an engine and is handy with a spanner.

Or is it, that one wants to have something out there to be his/her monument, while working in an office doesn't really build monuments.
Bill Phillips: There is something living about a steam locomotive. I am no anorak but I confess to loving them!
Lovely old carriage (Car?) complete with the old style lights in the roof.
Bill Phillips: Carriage to us I would think Brian
